New week, new lifestyle changes!! As I have mentioned in my bio, I have a caretaker for my parents. Both, due to conditions brought on by aging, have had doctors recommend we all go on the Mediterranean Diet. Years ago I looked into it, but now it is a reality. Giving up butter and reducing our consumption of red meat will be our biggest hurdle.
I will be sharing my research, recipes, our progress. and how changing to this diet helps with our various conditions. My own conditions, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, and arthritis hopefully will improve. They are also conditions that can (and probably will) lead to the conditions my parents have.
